I agree with Dr. Dobson. This is a sin, and I hope that real Christians won't let a little pain cause them to create this whole underworld drug industry.

The belief in Christ should already overtake any pain they might have. We are dealing with something as terrible as gay marriage on our society. First this, then pretty soon we will be having weed handed out to us at church!

How many children in Columbia must die for you to get high?

Jesus would be angry with you! It's time for Christians to take a stand on real biblical issues like marijuana, homosexuality, judicial appointments, etc!

Otherwise, we are going to be flooded with muslyms.

I’ve figured it out.. You’re an atheist, or an agnostic or something. You created a second account to show Christians how silly bigotry looks by embodying the worst of them. You knew all you’d be doing was flaming people, which is why you hide your email. That’s the only possible explanation. Nobody is that awful. Well, kudos!

I am a Christian, studied in the original texts for 35 years now, and I have one question back to you:
ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?

First of all, why you would want to compare something like the destruction of the family with smoking weed, I can't even begin to
imagine. Smoking weed is the very least of anyone's problems, and I can tell you that I would rather see someone smoke a joint than to drink alcohol that kills people day in and day out. When was the last time a fight erupted between two people who smoked weed, and the result was death? When was the last time you heard of someone robbing a drug store to get money for weed?
When was the last time you heard that people were run over by a car because they were too high to see someone crossing the street? Alcohol should be illegal and pot should be legal, as long as its done responsibly and at home or at a designated tavern, like they do in Amsterdamn.
And the VERY NERVE of you to suggest it be taken from cancer patients? Do you have any idea the comfort they find in it medicinally?? Should we take their morphine away, too? Lets watch them really, really suffer, how about that? Do you think that would be the "Christian" thing to do? Nobody is gonna hand out weed in the churches any more than they will hand out chemo-therapy in the churches. Get a damn grip, will you?
There is a point where you need to check yourself for being extreme. You are being extreme. Try to find a balance, and you will find yourself much more blessed by God for it.

You arrogant pious self righteous punk . How dare you tell people in extreme pain what they should or should not do to alleviate that pain. I luckily have never had cancer but I have been in extreme pain to the point where if I did enough opiates to relieve the pain , I would have had difficulty breathing . I screamed into my pillow instead and lost my voice for several days as a result.
There are some good people on this site who are sincere in their beliefs , some are Christians , some are Muslims , some are Buddhists and some like myself are atheists However all of us are human.
You are something else all together .
Under normal circumstances I would not wish that the physical agonies that I endured be suffered by another human being regardless of their race creed or color, in your case I'm going to make an exception ; I think that you should feel the pain , it may make you humble and possibly allow you to re-join the human race.

even In Jesus' time they used wine to numb the pain. I think this is just a new concept that is not a sin. So if you have a headache you should suffer and not take Advil? same with a drug. When i got my appendix taken out I should not have taken the morphine? Yea weed is an illegal drug for someone who does not need it but to someone where that is the only thing that they can use to ease their pain I say they should not be called sinners. Its ultimately God's choice weather it is not a sin but if that is the only solution it should be applied. And they wont hand out weed in church you are looking at it from too liberal of a point of view put yourself in they're place and tell me that you wouldn't take some to help you out?

WOW, I do think u are entitled to your opinion but isn't one of the attributes of Christianity: JUDGE NOT LEST YE BE JUDGED??? It amazes me how "non judgmental Christians" are the most judgmental people in this world..... very hypocritical.

But as a Christian AND a cop marijuana isn't illegal. And in the cases it is, it SHOULDN'T be. Its the only "drug" that doesn't need "MANUFACTURING" to be effective and NO i have NEVER arrested anyone for marijuana. I ask them to share it.........lol....j/k...

I do believe that the voter and the intent of the people made it legal. Also isn't there a scripture that tells u to sometimes have a little wine to settle your stomach. Isn't it Gods gift to men to be able to be doctors to ease human pain and suffering.

Get off your high horse, go to cancer clinic, pray for all the pain and suffering of the cancer patient to ease their pain. IF they still have pain after u pray for them, then question your own CHRISTIAN power and ur lack to affect a healing since u seem to think ALL suffering is strictly to be treated RELIGIOUSLY!!!

p.s. Are u going to be making a movie called "BLOOD BLUNT?"............lol

Wow.. just when I thought it couldn't get any worse... "flooded with muslyms"... for someone who seems to have such hate for a group, you should at least learn to spell Muslims correctly.. and now you're turning your hatred towards fellow Christians who might actually medically require marijuana just to help ease their pain?

You re-define why many people dislike followers of the Christian faith.

I can only pray that you learn to get over your bigotry and learn to treat other people with the respect they deserve.

As-salaamu alaykum - Peace be upon you

Judge not... You seem to practice your religion, but not true Christianity. One can only hope that God in his wisdom afflicts you with an incurable form of a very painful cancer.. the only relief for which is pain killers.

And when you finally die a painful death, God judges you harshly for your narrow minded bigotry.

are you serious? this must be a joke, are you getting at people with cancer for some reason? wierd.

you dont have to grow pot in columbia, you can do it on your window ledge and it doesnt hurt anyone. certinaly doesnt kill any children.

and how is this going to cause a flood of muslyms exactly? and how is gay marriage harming you?

2007-03-08 05:14:12 · answer #8 · answered by Anonymous · 7 0

I think pot is gross. Really really gross. And I'm actively against making it legal.

But you people need to back off. Its not your business. This is a person suffering from cancer and they need help. Your god isn't going to do it so they will turn to whatever method they can get. When your body is slowly being eaten alive, then you can talk. Until then, its none of your business whatsoever.

First off.... Smoking weed isn't a sin, if so.... send me a scripture that states so.... if you say it is a sin against your own body... wrong!!! only fornication.... I'm not saying it is good, I'll say that it is inconvenient and also destructive to the persons well being.
