Drooling is due to being in a deep, deep sleep. Could be you are way overtired before you decide to go to bed. Try to go an hour earlier and see if it helps.
Also you could be breathing too much through your mouth due to your nostrils not taking in enough air which is pretty common. Maybe you should get one of those nose strips and see if it opens your nostrils more and stops the problem. Just an idea.

If you are a mouth breather, you drool because your mouth is open. You need to breath out of your nose. Good luck trying that in your sleep though. Try vicks vapor rub or those nose strips to open your nose to breathe better. Also try sleeping on your back.

your body constantly produces saliva and usually you breathe through your mouth when you sleep it builds up and sometimes you drool. sometimes the breathing will dry your mouth out if you sleep on your back with your mouth facing up but if your mouth faces downward you are most likely going to drool and there is really no way to stop your body from producing saliva

Keep your mouth closed all the time, even during the day. Im willing to bet that after a while you will continue to keep it closed while sleeping.
You can also try sleeping on your back.
Theres probably an answer involving things like moisture content in the air and liquids drunk, but I dont know it.

Because you breath with your mouth open when sleeping, and since ur mouth is open drool can fall out, and since u are not awake to swallow your saliva, it eventually piles up and drizzles out of your mouth. Unstoppable. Sorry, man.

In certain resting positions, it's natural for the mouth to hang open. You could try switching to sleeping on your back, or something.
