They can be. Often times, it's not the line but the delivery that makes the difference. I think I've heard almost every pick up line out there but ones I smile at are those that were delivered with some charm!

Yes but even the worst pick-up line can still make a girl laugh.
I'm a dorky accountant lookin' dude but I'm always telling chicas I'm really a porn star. It's wicked stupid and it never works but we always have something to smile and laugh about later, and that's all I've ever wanted - to make people smile and laugh.
