Denying the holocaust or killing a (say, arab) child?

Killing the child. The Holocaust denier isn't taking a human life life. If they call for a repeat to the Holocaust, as some do, and are in a position of high power and influence, then that's worse; but merely denying it is nowhere near as bad as killing someone.

I'm a long time patron supporter of the US Holocaust Memorial Museum, though an Atheist with no Jewish familial ties. So I'm not a big fan of Holocaust deniers. But it's a question of immediacy isn't it? By refusing to learn from and even suppressing the horrors of the past we insure they will be repeated. Millions, perhaps billions, perhaps the whole human race could be destroyed as a result. But murdering a child is of course an immediate and individual act, not a potential future consequence. So ethically and morally, I would have to say killing any child would be worse that denying the historical fact of the Holocaust.

Of course, we will never see ourselves faced with either denying the Holocaust or killing a child, so the comparison doesn't really provide us with useful data for moral choice, does it?

They are equally bad because denying the holocaust amounts to advocating genocide and killing a child for their race is also attempting genocide.

killing a child
Child doesnt commited any such wrongdoers, since they do not reach a puberty...So is it much worse to kill people who is innocent...
When denying a holocaust, u just deny it with ur heart...Doesnt commit it...So the impact was less worse than killing a child...

Denying the holocaust would be stupid but it doesn't compare with killing someone.

Do you really have to ask?

To deny something you really have no clue about (unless you were there) could be good, bad, or whatever.

But killing, is killing, and that is BAD. Period.

No matter who it is, unless is on self defense, killing is the worse thing you can do.
