Yes, I remember that cereal. They had it when I was a kid (I'm 31) It was called Ice Cream Cones cereal. The mascot was Ice Cream Jones. They stopped making it in the late 80's.

I totally remember it! It was called "ice cream cones cereal!" I never got to have it cause my mom made us eat rice krispies but I loved the mascot Ice Cream Jones!

There's a web site that specializes in finding hard to find treats. If you send a request, they will research and try to find the item you're looking for. I browse that place and I always have fond memories of foods from the past. Some of the items are readily available in my area, but I guess to others, it's not that close.
I bought my parents one of the decade boxes - they had fun cherishing their memories.

OMG!!!!! i was just asking my husband about that and he looked at me like i was crazy.i use to LOVE that commercial.they have a web site of old 80's cereal and i screamed when i saw that.i remember the song and everything.my names ice cream jones ding a ling a ling!!!!!! thanks you made my day!!!!!!!!

I do remember them, though I've never eat'en them.
I also remember Bugle's. We use to put them on our fingers like long claws. Haven't seen them around for some time.
At least my local grocery doesn't carry them.
