Original ideas for romantic one year anniversary?

My girlfriend and I will have been together exactly one year this Saturday. I want this to be a spectacular weekend for her and would appreciate any ideas you might have.

symbolical valuable events or gifts are always attractive. and by valuable i dont mean expensive, i mean creative. and make the gift about her.tell her about something u will give up or do just for her, or have her picture painted, go somewhere that s calm but outdoors, maybe candles on the beach or a table on the roof, or propose?:)

Here's something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:

Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!

The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.

Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.

Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it more of a homemade feeling.

here are a few suggestions~

go to a flowershop and go get a bag of rose petals~ yes, rose petals.... and does she like wine or champagne?... what is her fav flavor of a candle? does she like bubble baths?...most ladies do like these things...a lot too~~

unexpectedlly run her a nice bath with the candles burning and pour you and her some wine or champagne(which ever you prefer)....put some nice bubble bath in the water ...
but....before you do this put the flower petals in like a "trail " like pattern to the bed from the tub....
i think this sounds so romantic and trust me she would absolutly love this~

here are another few things...do you 2 like sweets? choc covered strawberries~ a tasty cheese cake ~ that has happy anniversary on it....

oh you know what also sounds thoughtful and not "boring"
instead of the typical 1 dozen red roses thing~ get her a mixture of white , red, pink and coral color roses...oh and the yellow ones too...
red for love~
pink for joy~
white for purity and honesty
yellow for friendship and...coral is fore desire...they are and orngy peachy color and they are gorgeous!!
