Ok I am 28, been with my bf for 2 years, we have 4 kids 2 mine 1 his and 1 ours. For 6 months now I have been nicely asking him to give it up more, like more than twice a week. I know he isnt fooling around, but his job is stressful. Anyways I ran across an old flame and one thng led to another, but we didnt have actual intercourse. I stopped before it went any further, because I knew it was wrong. I haven't seen or talked to this guy since. Should I tell my bf, we are planning on getting married in a year.

Do not ever tell him! NO WAY! He will never see you the same and never trust you again and it will always be in the back of his mind. You didn't have sex, so just brush it off and don't ever see the other guy again and move on with your life. Get a toy to keep you company if your man doesn't wanna do it as often as you do. It will help. I promise.

I think he will actually be a bit relieved in knowing that you didn't sleep with the guy. if you gave him oral though he is gonna be pissed. 2 years? how important is trust to you, and how important is you relationship? He deserves to know regardless. However if you can keep yourself from every doing that again, and live with the guilt then yeah i figure it will eventually go away then maybe you shouldn't tell him. Just don't be evil.

Don't tell him, it will do more harm than good.
TV show Dharma and Greg did a series on this that I found very insightful. I don't normally suggest life imitating TV but I thought the Dharma fling with her teacher very instructive.
Sometimes a woman needs her secrets and needs to keep them buried.

no dont tell him. u didnt go all the way dont bother. telling him is only going to hurt him and make YOU feel better. You did the crime and now u have to bear the secret and save his feelings. been there, done that. there also are kids involved if u gonna tell him that can cuase so many problmes and theyre going to have to suffer for it too. just live with the guilt. u gonna have to.

I think that you should go to a counselor to help you sort out your feelings. I doubt that you love this guy because if you did you wouldnt have done that. You are probably used to being with him. You should be honest because you would probably want him to be honest as well

sounds to me like your looking for someone to fill some of your time. if your that easily led into a situation. you shouldnt be getting married if this is an issue now. fix it or move on.

well if u know that u didnt do nothing tell him if he loves u hell understand and talk to him cuz it seems like u havent had nada and u have to try to get him in the mode tell how u feel trust me

i you can tell your self you will not do it again than I would not tell him. on the other hand, it already went farther than it should have and you are not even married yet. what will happen 5 years down the road?
