a doctor will see you free at the health department. all you do is go in and fill out papers on why you are there and they will call you back, it's thats simple. While you are there they will set you up for medicaid automatic b/c you are pregnant. and your baby will also have health insurance when he/she comes out. good luck.

WIC will not give you any medical coverage. You need to check your phone directory for social services. You need to apply and when you talk to someone let them know that you need an expedited appointment because you are pregnant. They will expedite you coverage.
If you already have a Dr, ask the billing manager and the office manager. See if they have any programs, or see if they know of a doctor, hospital or other program that might be able to help you out.

Call you local Department of Human Services and get the paper work started for medicaid. Go ahead and make an appointment with a doctor (any that accept medicaid) Once you get medicaid it will pay all medical bills up to 3 months prior to your having it.

A doctor will see you, but it won't be cheap. Try searching for a free clinic in your area. I linked the planned parenthood in Tennessee. They provide low cost and no cost health care. They can get you started. Then you should see about getting insurance from the state. Here is a link to some programs available in your area. http://state.tn.us/tenncare/members/eligible1.htm

Go to social services and apply for medicaid.this may take a while but i believe hospitals and doctors and etc will charge you. BEST BET RIGHT NOW IS to find a local free clinic and they will definitely start you on prenatal care free of charge.
