Global warming aside, what we have to worry about is an ever increasing world dependent on fossil fuels and an inability to even cope with that scenario. Having said that today in the US over 10000 deaths happen every year due to fossil fuel pollution(and that's only air pollution, not soil and water contamination).

Shabtown the "talking box" is for the public, D.C.(the real pres.) and G.W. (the puppet pres.) tell them what to say.

Bob........Wow dude you must only stay in your garage or something, anyway your wrong; The only disputed idea in the "theory" of global warming is what will happen to us in the next 100 years. Probably sooner than that cause Greenland is loosing its glaciers at an alarming rate. Greenland alone will raise sea leaves 21 feet.

The probem is that nobody really knows if global climate change is man caused. What makes me crazy is that so many of you talk like it is a fact, which it isn't. Even the most rabid of the global warming crowd admit it is a theory. When you keep insisting it is a fact and demand everybody believe in it you begin to look like some kind of fanatic. Any educated person already knows the following...

The climate changes on its own without man's intervention!!!

Global warming is not proven!!!

The earth is cooler than the average expected temperature based on history!!!

There is no proof whatsoever that man has caused the climate to change!!!

Popular opinion does not change scientific methodology.

EDIT:
Don't you love how the nuts all come through and thumbs down everybody that disagrees with them? I think the word fanatic is very appropriate here. The have absolutely no interest in even considering anything but their personal little truths, regardless of the facts.

Kelly, your wrong. Many facets of global warming theory are unproven. Whether or not people believe them is irrelevent, proof is a scientific issue and isn't subject to beliefe or disbelief. Do some real scientific research instead of quoting the popular media.

Q1. Is there even global warming?

Probably not. The current warming trend is not unprecidented and is probably just part of a natural fluctuation in temperature.

Q2. Is global warming caused by man? Certainly not.

Q3. Can we do anything about it? Certainly not.

Q4. Is it even a bad thing? Who can say? There is definitely some benefit.

In a nutshell, those scientists who embrace global warming are jumping to a conclusion based on anecdotal hand picked evidence and very small and unfairly selected samples of data. The majority of scientists know this and are finally becoming more vocal in exposing some very bad science.

i believe some will and some will not. not all hunters and fisherman are back-country hicks. many of them are scientists, or atleast spend enough time in the outdoors to see that humans cause environmental pollution, which in turn causes global warming.
