normal lab value for F.B.S.
the 4.0- 5.0 range the first answerer refers to is the A1C test that shows your blood glucose levels over the last 3 months
also always make sure your glucometer is accurate
they sell solutions to test high and low ranges on the meter with guidelines to the values to assure your glucometer is properly functioning

That's quite a low blood sugar. The 70 is better than the 67, of course - but you might get the shakes at that level.

The American Diabetes Association guidelines for good blood sugar has a range of 90 to 130. I struggle to get my fasting blood sugar to be 150.

Be careful hon, ok?
High blood sugar will kill you slowly - but very low blood sugar can kill you quick. Don't let it get any lower. OK?

Normal fasting values for an adult is 70 to 115 so you are on the low end of normal. If you are testing your glucose then you obviously have a machine and therefore should know more about this subject.

NO that is to high for a fasting test
should be in the 4.0 to 5.0 range
