My name is Jessica,
His name is Tyler.
I lived in Canyon lake when I met him
We first started out as friends,
Then he soon became my best friend
We then started dating after being friends for a year
He meant the world to me at the time
I was young, & he was 3 years older than me
He was my first boyfriend
He was so wonderful to me
But 1 day my mom & dad started thinking about moving
And we did. We moved 4 hours away from where he lived
I asked him to come with me, To move with me
And he promised that he would....
He told me he would be there on Sunday,
I waited there in the cold, while it was pouring rain for 6 in a half hours in excitement that he was going to come with me.
But he never showed up. He just left me hanging...
The next day he called me, & Told me he would rather
stay with in Canyon lake, And that it isn't his fault.
He wouldn't even take responsibility for his own actions.

It's been nearly 3 years since I spoke to him....
And now he sends me an e-mail saying......

That him making the choice to not
come with me was the biggest mistake of his life.

Should I e-mail him back?

I'm not even that sure of what to say when
I do e-mail him back!

In all honesty I'm actually happy things
worked out the way that they did...
But he is depressed, And hates life.

While I am happy about the situation,
What should I do?!

Ignore the email. You do not need him to come back 3 yrs later when his life is a mess and try to have you fix things for him. He made his choice - continue on with your life and don't let him mess things up.

Do whatever your heart desires. If you really would like to regain contact with him, email him and see how he has been doing and such. But if you are that sick of him, dont worry about it. Obviously you guys must have had a strong connection if you dated for 2 years, so maybe it would be worth emailing him

If you think it'll work... go for it... but there's a probability that he's using you ... like he had a bad relationship and was hurt so he goes back to you... I'm not saying it's true, but come on... it took him 3 years to find out that he made a mistake?

Things should never end up on a bad note. so do yourself and him a favor, and email him, not expecting an email back, state all your true feelings. Don't worry, speak the truth.
