You know a relationship that begins with a lie, ends with a lie. When you want to be in a relationship with a person, you should give them a chance to decide for themself if they want to be in that relationship. You should not have to alter or change yourself for anybody. People shoulsd like you for who your are and nothing less. His friends are not in this situation he is. If he lets his friends influence his decisions, then he needs to start thinking for himself.

I would say that depends why you broke up in the first place. If you 2 just weren't getting along because you couldn't communicate or something else that now seems stupid then it may be a good idea to let him know it's really you. However if you 2 broke up over trust issues then not only should you not tell him, you should end the charade completely, as you are only making the problem worse.Whatever you do, take into account the terms you are on in reality. How is your relationship with him as his ex? Still friends? If you guys don't even speak anymore then it won't really matter what you do, as you can't destroy any trust or friendship that isn't there in the first place. If you are on friendly terms, end the charade- don't tell him it was you necessarily, but make your alter ego disappear.

I'm confused...you are trying to trap him and see if he'll cheat on you? My first response to that is, if you don't want to know the answer, don't ask the question. Now, if he's trying to implore you to reveal yourself, do you think he's on to you? Is he trying to hook up with this fake person? If not, then just stop talking to him, delete the ID and enjoy your relationship before you ruin it entirely. And NO, do not tell him. He'll never trust you anymore if you do.

so you dont want to see him anymore huh? well its a guarenteed thing. lie to them they get mad, call you all kinds of names. they tell everyone they know. pretty soon everyone knows what you did. no one will have anything to do with you. so tell me something, what have you gained? tell him the truth. tell him you lied and your the lying idiot that had to play that stupid game with him. anything else you need?

Why are you doing this in the first place? It sounds mean. Just be honest with people.
