Most people with diagnosed mental illnesses are in some sort of treatment...and most are manageable (some to more of a degree than others). Everyone, even those with mental illness has to learn how to COPE with life -- and it usually takes more hard work to learn coping skills for the mentally ill.

Meanwhile, there are MORE undiagnosed people walking around in the world, than those who are diagnosed. So, it's difficult to know whether a person might be mentally ill nor not?

EVERYONE has quirks, affects and some sort of "general weirdness" about them....

I think that if two people connect, find each other interesting and care for one another, and themselves, anything is possible!

One of my girlfriends in high school had social anxiety disorder. But she was really smart and beautiful and we had a lot in common. She liked video games and writing as much as I did. I helped her overcome her anxiety by always giving her acceptance and empathy, since I was also a bit shy. And once she came completely out of her shell, she started cheating on me with some loudmouthed meathead on the football team and eventually left me for him.

Why not? As long as she has a great personality and can hold down a relationship wiithout screwing around, thats all I care about. Everyone has problems.

It depends on their severity, of course.

But overall -- and even ignoring the fact that I'm married, which of course quite moots the point -- I've learned my lesson.

There is no such thing as a beautiful woman that isn't crazy. We all know it and we are all fine with it. That's why we don't listen.

I would like to help such a woman overcome her illness, so, yeah, if I have to be in a relationship to help her, then I would.
