My girlfriends is goofy when she dances.She has no Rhythm.
Im a musician and have lots of good rhythm and feel embarrassed when she dances with me in front of people I've known for years.Shes a girl thats not too skinny and not to fat...a cute looking girl.Not hot sexy but cute and a little overweight.For some reason I fall for this type.Shes not hard to look at.I love her very much.
But when she dances with me she puts 2 hands on the back of my neck and starts shakeing off rhythm completly.When this happens I feel like Im going done a bumpy back road.I feel I have to get off this road before something in my vehicle gets damaged persay.I feel kind of embarrassed.I don't know what to do about it.I don't want to go to danceing classes.It's not about that.I think its cute that she don't have rythm,but not when she has me in her grips in front of everyone.Keep in mind That I still love her but I have to chuckle inside.

This is the cutest question I have seen in a long time!! How very cute of you.....I think this is awesome.
You make it seem like she dances like Elaine from 'Seinfeld"..all hurky jerky like....I hope she really isn't that bad.
And yeah, when I see couples dance, I think about how they're "getting it on"....I'm not so occupied with the thought that I am imagining them but yeah...I get ya!
I think in the grand scheme of things, as long as you two are enjoying each other, the dance floor becomes empty when you're connecting with that special person. When you're gazing in to each other's eyes, and having a fun night, then its a win-win situation.

well its OK that you feel that way but come on if that's the worst she can do then you have a good one just tell her that you think she is cute when she dances and tell her that you want to dance at home together and then try new moves together and slowly teach her rhythm and no one looks at you two and says "wow she sucks at dancing she must suck and sex to "
and dont be embarrassed by your girl friend so she cant dance its OK she is happy and that's all that matters

this sounds fairly childish...dancing is dancing..if the music makes her groove a certain way then that's her way ...and just because you or your friends don't like it...then too bad..
And by the way if you as you put it" I love her very much" then this would not even be an issue... and you would stand up for her even if you though her dancing was goofy...
get over it....and count you blessings....

I bet you don't have as much rhythm as you think you do!! Most people can't dance, fact of life. And no way does it have any bearing on what you do in bed. I'm a crap dancer, but my b/f seems more than happy with what we do in bed.

ok first off if you love her so much dont be embrassed, shes your honey!! and secondly maybe you try to lead her, get her hands before she puts them around your neck and just try your best to lead her and thats as much as you can do cuz it would hurt her feelings if you told her she doesnt know how to dance or that your embarassed

Don't Feel embarrased for that.
Maybe her problem is "with ears", she doesn't listen the "rhythim". You know, you need to have good ear to follow it.
