My boyfriend moved in with me about 2 months ago and I just found out the other day that his ex-wife and him were inimate 3 days before he moved in with me. I asked him about it and he told me the truth that he had to know for sure if there was anything between them anymore and she tried to blow him and it wouldn't work ... he claims that he then knew that he was making the right decision. Does anyone find this hard to believe other than me ?? Also I have to wonder if that is all that happened ... and why didn't he tell me before I found out ??

Yes. This is a very sad but common situation that happens with most couples who divorce. They still want that last thrill- to see if just maybe there is some passion left, even if some time has passed and one person has moved on. Unfortunately that dosen't make it acceptable for him to cheat on you with her. What does he mean that he knew right then, when her copulation methods didnt work that he was making the right decision to leave- Why didn't he know this was a bad decision prior to her seduction. ??? The reason he didn't tell you is because he simply didn't want you to know, and hoped you would find out. But too late now. I think you guys need to re-evaluate your relationship as far a intentions, trust and respect are concerned. Perhaps counseling- and a few long talks should help heal this rift in your realtionship and to make sure that he can fully commit to you as his current girlfriend.

Dump him! It sounds like a sorry excuse because he got busted...he shouldn't have to "make sure" there wasn't anything between them anymore. If he really wanted to be with you it shouldn't matter. It might be hard to let him go but better now then later when he needs to "make sure" again!

I agree he didnt want to hurt you by telling you, but at the same time you found out, how's that for not hurting you. Should have come clean ASAP. Now if he is stll in contact I would tell him no more of her, no talk no toouch no email. Get rid of the old pair of shoes.

oh my god. i can not believe that is the excuse you got. that is totall absurd. before you get married it is not a rule of thumb to sleep with an ex to be sure that you really want to marry this person. i think your boyfriend is nuts if he thinks he can get away with that. i'm not saying you should leave him but, you should not let him get away with it. what you end up getting married, you would be very worried that he would cheat again, right?

Good Luck.

It's kind of sleazy to have oral sex with his ex days before he moved in with you. It just tells me that he's not totally over her.

I'd proceed with caution if I were you. He seems like the kind of person who doesn't have a problem with infidelity.
