That depends on what's shaking. If your steering wheel shakes, get your tires balanced. No harm on having someone take a look at your motor mounts. That's not a new car.

Check under the hood to make sure Elvis is there, shake ,rattle and roll, just kidding. if it shakes when car is stationary its in the engine, mounts etc, if it shakes when moving it could be engine and wheels. I had a car with a burnt valve do the same thing moving and stationary, good luck

does your car shake only when driving or if parked.
if its a motor mount when you press on the gas and look at your engine you will see the engine move alot.
i have a broken motor mount and my car doesnt shake that much. check to see if it could be a loose wheel nut or it could be a tie rod or ball joint.
whatever it is, you should get it looked at, it could be very dangerous to drive your car.
hope this helps
and good luck

Could be many many many things. My sister hit a curb with her tempo and that messed up the alignment which made it shake.... but yeah it could be motor mounts, could be transmission (many possibilities) obviously the best bet is to bring to a mechanic

cheapest and easiest way to start is go to wal mart and get your tires balanced. have them make sure your wheels are true. that will cost about 30 bucks. this is if it only vibrates when rolling if it shakes all the time you might want to check the engine mounts.

Change your plugs and wires.
You might want to have the catalytic converter checked out, could be clogged, but changing the plugs usually takes care of it. The car is 15 yrs old, it needs a tune-up.

i could first replace the thermostat. It sounds to me which you the two have a defective one or the incorrect temp of a thermostat. 2d if that would not clean up the difficulty then the 2d element to envision is to make particular all the fins are in solid situation interior the water pump. which ability you need to eliminate it and look in section the pump on the fins. If a million or extra of the fins are broken or worn replace it. heck you may get a clean pump for under $50

Could be the crankshaft pulley/hamonic dampner. The rubber in the pulley separates. Common problem on this car.

if it shakes while driving it could be wheel balance. if it's while idling it could be anything from bad plugs to the timing check spark plug wires for arching also look for vacuum leaks. I hope this helps.
