Hey OK take it from me someone who has 5 tattoos and when it comes to needles I'm a big baby but i was surprised when i went to get it really didn't hurt at all because sometime the area will go a Lil numb after so long but if its Ur first don't be scared my first one i watched the hole thing and if u don't wanna do that just focus on some thing or talk to some one while there doing it
and also when u get there what i always did was picked a design that i liked but i had the guy change it so that it was my style and my way so i would know that not many people would have the same one and make sure u watch the person who is doing it change every thing with new stuff be for he does anything and make sure it is clean and what i found to be the best cream to be for when it is healing is Vitamin A&D cream for dipperrashers it works better than anything elce i used and aslo DO NOT SCRATCH it while its healing
good luck

This is certainly not to scare you, but some shops are definitely cleaner than others. And serious diseases can be acquired at an unclean facility. What could it hurt to make a quick call to your local health department to make sure this shop has a clean bill of health? Even then, use your eyes and your nose before the tattoo begins. If it doesn't look and smell immaculate, then consider doing the tattoo elsewhere.

Congratulations. Just relax, and pay attention to what your artist tells you for after care. You're paying the person for their artwork, and their reputation is going out the door on your body, so respect the artist enough to follow the directions they give. Bear in mind that tattoos are addicting, I got my 1st 4 weeks ago, and can't wait for the next one. Good luck and keep us posted.

Ok I've seen you hangin' around where enough to feel comfortable telling you....Drink alot before you go....It's going to feel like someone is hitting you with a ball bat (feel free to slap your artist upside the head when ever it hurts. He expects that and everybody does it. Which is one reason they charge so much.)....Once you get the tattoo, wrap it in Saran Wrap, Aluminum Foil, Wax Paper and greasy shop rags, If it itches scratch it....If it scabs pick it......Go ahead and book time in the sunbed now so you can expose it to sunlight and SET the ink.....Ok...I think that about covers it all....
good luck

I was wondering how the interview went. Will send good vibrations to your side of the world! If this is the true dream job then I hope you get it, if it's not the one, then I will hope that you find an even better one! Prayers and good wishes to a very nice person! Good Luck!

1) no blood thinners ( aspirin, etc.)
2) be picky and have the artist change anything you don't like in the design before you start
3) wear clothing that isn't going to touch it too much or snag on it if you get scabs.
4) get as much done w/out stopping as possible. it's easier that way.
5) the outline will hurt way worse than the actual color. so, once that's over it gets better

nothing with caffiene, eat before you go, don't be nervous, it'll be awesome, get plenty of rest and sleep, don't take any pain killers or you'll bleed like crazy, and don't scratch no matter how itchy it gets when healing, if you do it will look like crap, and make sure you put plenty of lotion on it the kind with no fragrance! lubiderm has some really good kind. Congrats, your gonna love it. Have fun!

stay relaxed, watch your breathing because that can mess everything up(depending on where you get the tattoo). don't tense up and make sure you want it, there is no turning back. i love mine i got 2 weeks ago. enjoy and good luck
oh-curel is the best lotion to put on it, it has no perfumes .

Good Luck and remember to stay relaxed. Do not drink any form of alcohol and eat a heavy meal beforehand.
