Course it is, the cubans and the russians have the ring scored in numbers and colours, they brief represent the best part of a ring to be to throw a punch so 3 or more judges will view it and score it, furthermore the computer count back whrere it was a draw can be tampered with

I agree, I think it was worse than before. My reasons:
Even though it is computer scoring, there is still a judge in charge of the computer. (A point is given to a boxer after he lands a punch if at least 3 of the 5 judges clicks a button within 1 second of each other that says he landed a punch.)
You dont get extra points for landing a hard punch versus a weak punch.
I dont believe you get any extra points for knocking a person down.
There is no point in throwing large combinations because the at least 3 of the 5 judges have to press a button within 1 second of each other...well what if i throw 3 punches in a second. he only gets one point.
A boxer can land one punch and run because he knows he is winning on the scoreboard. They arent supposed to know the scores, but they always know them somehow, did you watch the olympics? The scoring is supposed to be hidden from the people in the arena and can be seen live from people outside the arena. People from the outside can easily contact people on the inside and tell them the score.

I know there were problems with the old system...Roy Jones getting screwed but I think this isnt much of an improvement.

Instead of judges pressing buttons i would rather them use Compubox anyways.

they should never have used computers. three ringside judges using the tried
& trusted method of each boxer starting of with 20 points was the best. i. e. the boxer who landed the most scoring blows was awarded 20 points his opponent awarded points depending on how many punches he was behind. i.e. two or three scoring blows deduct 1 point. so the score after 1st round would be 20-19.if it was more i.e. 5 0r 6 punches then it be 20-18.this method was called hand over fist. each judge would count the punches.it is not as hard as one would think. i.e. if the boxer in red landed two scoring blows the judge would go two up red . if blue landed one scoring blow then the judge would go 1 up red thereby at the end of the round he would know who had won & by how many scoringblows.he would then score the round as he sees it.thats why you have 3 judges around the ring.three different views ensures the right boxer wins.

I have to say I still think it was bad. If they want to rip someone off they just don't hit the button. So you still have the corruption. Also if someone hits and hurts an opponent it doesn't matter. It is why being a gold medal winner doesn't mean you will be a good pro.

The problem is the judges are corrupt. That is what you need to fix.
