LOVE,,, one of those words i thought I've lost full faith in. ... what is love ,love is an emotion that can be so great and wonderful and also at the same time be the cause of you wanting to stay in a corner forever and curl up and die! It brings joy and happiness but also contributes to sleepless nights filled with swollen eyes from a destroyed person who cant understand if this is "love why does it hurt so bad" "why would this person put me through this heart ache time and time again ?"

Its a good argument though ,,, some people no longer believe in it and will do anything in their power to avoid it at any cost . Then there are also people who live by it and for it,,, because its suppose to be one of the greatest feelings for us humans to experience here on earth. be patient and it will hopefully come ... although there are so much negative feelings attached to this four letter word i will still encourage anyone who has tried it and been hurt to try it again ... and for those who have never experienced it just know it will be the fastest out of control roller coaster ride that you have every been on ,,, but that feeling is worth millions and i believe everyone deserves to know what it feels like !!!!

Love is just something, it's not everything. And in my experience it doesn't keep a relationship together, how ever it does save lives. Love is something so diverse it is big enough to make people care about someone whom they have never met, how ever it's insignificant enough to keep a relationship together *sometimes* What is love you ask? it's simply complex. It's everything for someone and nothing for a lot of people. Can it even be described? what type of love are you talking about the, I'm so in love with him, or i love my parents? or i love it when they play this song on the radio? too many contexts for a 4 letter word. this doesn't not provide an answer just how i feel on the subject matter. most people who have been really hurt or are hurting now will tell you love isn't real or it is a bad thing and causes terrible pain. People in a good relationship will tell you love is the most powerful thing in the world, it's unconditional and supreme. All i do know is......i really don't know. My grandpa was married 55 years i asked him not to long ago if he still loved grandma even though she is gone, and he said "yes i will never stop loving her" I hope one day i get to experience that.

My opinion, Love is only a word. Means nothing but sounds good. Actions mean more than words, they show you how a person feels towards you. Words are spoken all the time, truth and lies can you tell the difference with a word? To me Love is commitment, respect, support, trust and safety. With out these there is nothing.

As a Christian, what I think love is doesn't really mean much, but what the Bible says about love is important. Read Paul's first letter to the church in Corinth - 1Corinthians chapter 13. Now, that's true love called" charity" in the King James Version!

well there are two different things, love and infatuation. Infatuation is when you are attracted to someone enjoy being with them... etc. Just think about how you feel about that person, is it the way they make YOU feel? Is it about physical or just having fun with them?

Genuine love is when you think of that person and you appreciate THEM. When you are wondering " what can i do to make that person a little more happy?" What are you willing to do for that person? Would you give up you everything for them?

I felt that i loved my husband when we got married after dating for 2 years. but now that we have been married for7 i realize that i didn't have genuine love for it at that time. It took about 2 years of marriage to cultivate a strong love with him.

It means that you can totally accept another person, including her faults and negatives.

All that chasing a woman through the airport, last minute declarations of love tripe is a fantasy concocted by Hollywood to sell movie tickets.

love makes me think of those sleepless nights when you couldnt wait to see that special guy that caught your eye...and the look in his eye when hes leaning in to kiss you...or the butterflies you get in your stomach when you think about him....or how your skin gets all tingly when he touches you....or how breathless you become when he smiles at you...or the rush of energy when he speaks to you..... or the way you cant stop thinking about him no matter were you are at or who you are with....
