Are you For Something (PRO) or against it (CON) I think it is Latin

If you are asked to make a list of 'pros and cons' you would divide the paper in half and under the 'pros' you would put the good things and under the 'cons' you would put the bad things.

Pro means in favor of.
'pro' is Latin for 'in favor'

Con means in opposition or disagreement. 'con' is short for contra which is Latin for against.
