It's probably a good thing. However a lot of girls just call people pet names. I call my brother and best friends sweetie. I also call some of my friends honey so don't read too much into it.
I also suggest you ask her if she has a crush on you or if she calls everyone by a pet name.

She can like him as a friend or a lover if she calls hims "sweetie". Some women call all the men they know "sweetie" to get what they want.

Could mean something...could mean nothing. Also depends on what part of the country you are in. Here in North Carolina we call EVERYONE sweetie so it really means nothing when a guy or a girl calls you it.

I call my guy "sweetie" all the time. For me, it's a loving term so yeah...it's a good thing.

Every time i go to the corner store to rent a movie, the girl there calls me sweetie, probally doesnt mean anything, then again she could be flirting with you

depends with the tone of the girl's voice for example if a girl said "sweetie, can i borrow you pen or ruler" it would be good but if a girl said "sweetie! don't flatter yourself " then it wouldn't be nice and it would be very bad so there you have it hope that answers your question.

It does, as somebody said, depend where your from. In England men and women call each other Love and Sweetie as if it was their name.

if the person is a good friend then i don't think it means anything special. it could mean that the girl likes the guy, but don't read into it too much. it's not a bad thing though.
