Does anyone know the receipe in making coke cake? I really want to know how!!!

Coca-Cola Cake

INGREDIENTS:
2 cups self-rising flour
2 cups sugar
3 tablespoons cocoa
1 cup Coca-Cola
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
.
Frosting:
1/2 cup butter
1 tablespoon cocoa
6 tablespoons Coca-Cola
1 box confectioner's sugar, (1pound)
1/2 cup chopped pecans

PREPARATION:
Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan and set aside.
In a large bowl combine flour and sugar. In a saucpan combine the cocoa, Coca-Cola, butter, and marshmallows; bring to a boil. Combine the boiled mixture with the flour and sugar mixture.

In a separate bowl mix eggs, buttermilk, baking soda, and vanilla; add to the first mixture.

Pour into prepared pan and bake at 350 degrees for about 35 minutes, until cake tests done.
Frosting: In a saucepan, bring butter, cocoa, and Coca-Cola to a boil. Stir in the sugar and mix well. Stir in nuts. Spread over the cake while both cake and frosting are still warm.
Serves about 16.

4 cups flour
8 Tablespoons cocoa

1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 pound butter (4 cubes)
4 eggs
1 cup butter milk
4 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups Coca Cola
1/2 ci[ bitter
1/2 cup Coca Cola
6 Tablespoons cocoa
1 cup chopped pecans
2 teaspoons canilla
2 boxes powdered sugar

Grease and flour a 11 x 17 pan. Sift the dry ingedients together and set aside. In a sauce pan, heat the butter and cola until the butter melts. Add the eggs, vanilla and buttermilk and mix well. Add the liquid to the dry ingredients and beat until smooth. The batter will be very thin. Pour into the prepared pan and bake at 350 f. for 30 minutes. (Will fill 2 tbue pans or 2 papper lined cup cake tins. Bake tube cakes for 60 minutes; cup cakes for 15.) This cake must be iced while warm.

The icing: In a sauce pan, heat the butter and cola. Do not boil. Add all remainging ingredeintes and mix well. Pour over cake.

Unofficial tips: 1. Spray the pan with baking spray (it has flour in it. Trader Joe's and Pam both make one.)

2. Add a little bit of plain, vanilla or cherry yogurt to the cake batter. If adding cherry yogurt, add some cherries, too.

6 tablespoons cocoa
12 tablespoons Coke
2 lbs powdered sugar

1. Cake:.
2. Place the sugar and flour into a mixing bowl and set aside.
3. Bring the butter, coke and cocoa to a boil.
4. Add the boiled mixutre to the sugar and flour.
5. Blend in the remaining ingredients.
6. Place into 3 8 or 9 inch cake pans.
7. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes.
8. Frosing:.
9. Bring the butter,cocoa and coke to a boil. Cool for 5 minutes.
10. Beat in the powdered sugar.
11. Add more powdered sugar if needed to make this a good spreading consistency.

COKE CAKE

1 cup butter
2 cups flour
1 3/4 cup sugar
3 t. cocoa
1 tsp.soda
1 tsp.vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 c. (any brand) canned cola
1 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows

Combine softened butter, flour, sugar, cocoa, soda vanilla, eggs and buttermilk. Add cola, blend well and stir in marshmallows by hand.
Pour into a greased pan and bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes.

Cool for 30 minutes.

FROSTING:

1/2 cup butter
3 T. cocoa
1/3 cup cola
4 cup powdered sugar

Toast 1/2 cup almonds in oven and stir into frosting if desired. It adds a great flavor.

I have made it for years so it is kitchen tested.

i've tried this one before because I love the drink so I wanted to try baking with it and it turns out really good!!

CAKE
2 cups flour or cake flour
2 cups sugar
1 cup margarine or butter
3 tablespoons cocoa
1 cup Coke
1/2 cup buttermilk, with
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 well beaten eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows

Coke Icing
1/2 cup butter or margarine
6 tablespoons Coke
3 tablespoons cocoa
1 (8 ounce) box powdered sugar (I believe 8oz I always get the small box it was never noted on the recipe I have for this)

Sift Together:.
2cups flour or cake flour with 2 cups sugar
(set aside for later).
Mix in a saucepan and bring to a boil
2 Sticks Margarine or butter, 3 TBLS Cocoa, and 1 cup coke.
Pour this over the dry ingredients you sat aside. and mix in:.
1/2cup buttermilk w/1TSP soda; 2 well beaten eggs; 1 TSPS vanilla; 1 1/2cups minature marshmallows.
Bake 350 for 30 minutes.
When the cake is half done begin making the
icing.
Mix:.
1/2cup Butter or Margarine; 6 TBLS Coke; 3 TBLS Cocoa.
Bring to a boil and slowly add the box of powdered sugar (and if you like 1 cup nuts).
Once Icing is mixed well and cake is done pour the hot icing over the hot cake.

1 cup cola-flavored carbonated beverage
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
6 tablespoons cola-flavored carbonated beverage

4 cups confectioners' sugar
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease one 13 x 9 inch baking pan.
Sift the flour, white sugar and baking soda together.
In a saucepan over medium heat bring 1 cup of the butter, 3 tablespoons of the cocoa, and 1 cup of the cola drink to a boil. Pour into the flour mixture and stir in the marshmallows, buttermilk and the beaten eggs. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 to 35 minutes. Remove cake from oven and top with Coco-Cola Topping while cake is still warm.
To Make Coco-Cola Topping: In a saucepan bring 1/2 cup of the butter or margarine, 6 tablespoons of the cola drink and 3 tablespoons of the cocoa to a boil. Remove from the heat and stir in the confectioners' sugar, chopped nuts and vanilla. Spread topping over cake while still warm.

go out and get a cake mix, dont put oil, put coke...thats what i do it. it works
