I have never ever really thought about a guy(that works opposite me) this much and I don't even know him!It's crazy the upsetting thing is I don't know if he likes me.He smiled and said hi today but I know thats hardly a sign.He does say im gorgeous and he winks.Anyway isn't it crazy that im thinking about this stranger so much?Maybe I have too much time on my hands?

It's not ever a good idea to get into "fantasy" relationships. I have had way too many of them myself and trust me when I say that it's not worth it. If he's showing some sort of interest in saying you're gorgeous and winking then obviously he has some sort of attraction. I would just play it cool around him and be your best self to see what happens from there. Otherwise, it would be best if you could find someone that you KNOW is into you. Love only those that love you and you'll be better off.

I think it is chemistry. Its an odd little thing and sometimes pops up for no ryme or reason. You are not crazy...I got a crazy one for ya!
I used to work in Home Heath Pediatric Occupational Therapy. On of my clients needed a wheelchair, so I set up a wheel chair eval at the local hospital. Usually wheel chair evals are done by OT's and PT's together in order to get optimal fit with optimal function.
Anyway so I get to the hospital with the parent and child and we go find the PT. I dont know what it was about this guy but he was immediatly hot to me. The funny thing the feeling was obviously mutual. Here we are doing a wheelchair eval and giving each other these "come get me looks" and flirting. Keep in mind we never met before, so this was indeed odd to me.
When all was said and done the family left the therapy room and this guy looks at me and flat out says "I find it strange that I am telling you this but I think your sexiest girl I have ever met and dont think this a come on line cause I am married and never would cheat on my wife, but I just wanted you to know...there is something about you and I think I will remember this moment for the rest of my life"
Of course I am dying inside cause it was odd to me that the feeling was not only mutual but mutual to such an intensive degree. I too was married and would have never sought out anything with him but it (like he said) has stuck with me still to this day.
The mom of this kid even asked me about it on our next visit. She said "I saw something there" and kept asking if we knew each other. The kid ended up getting an really awesome chair so despite all appearances we were both able to maintain our professionalism!

I think you're intrigued by this guy because although he is a hottie, he shows some sort of interest in you by winking and calling you gorgeous. I mean him acknowledging your existence is better than not making any gesture toward you at all. I think you're paying alot of attention to his every move because you seen that he may or may not have some sort of like for you. I think you should just talk to him regardless and try to make a friend and then you'll know if you're crazy or not. lol

Obviously you see something in him that captivates you.Maybe the mystery or the famtasy of the whole thing but whatever it is if it makes you all warm and tingley its a good thing. I say go on and feel this way and wait for him to approach you .Fantasies are awesome and sometimes they are better left at fantasies because the reality of the thing never lives up to the fantasy

Since this came up in a Food and Drink room, which is interesting all by itself, let's compare your lust with some of the wonderful things that cooking brings about. Aromas, flavors, excitement, sensuality, fulfillment. How about taking a step to share some food? Perhaps some cookies you baked? Perhaps some candy? Leftovers? He may be shy, but the best way to get to him at this stage is thru his olfactory senses and taste.....feed him!

It is chemistry. Sometimes you just can't explain attractions. Don't stress over it. Just see what happens. This is exactly how things were with my current boyfriend for a couple of years before we started dating.
