My legs and my hips and my back are so sore after drinking. Why do I always feel this way in the morning? I feel like it hurts to even move. And no, I was not having sex or wrestling around while I was drinking. I want to know the real cause.

Its dehydration. When you drink alcohol your body becomes dehydrated so it pulls fluid from your cells in your muscles. Always alternate 1 drink and 1 water. You will be surprised how much better you feel in the morning.

It sound like you are getting very dehydrated from the drinking and that is what is causing the soreness. Try drinking a couple glasses of water and same gator aide the night before when you are ready for bed, or the morning after if you have bathroom issues. If that doesn't work, see if you can determine what other things help you rehydrate (some people take to certain forms of hydration better then others) maybe even use something you would take after playing a sport in which you sweat a lot or something used to replenish fluids ofter severe diarrhea (gross to mention, but whatever works, right?). Once the fluids you lost due to the drinking are replaced and your cells are re hydrated, the sore feeling should go away.

you are sore because all of your muscles have lost fluid drink some Gatorade and water. to replenish your muscles if you would like to stop this from happening right order a tall glass of water with your last call order and drink to more once you get home and then drink some OJ in the morning so you don't get sick or take vitamin C pill before bed and when you wake up. this will help.

You are most likely suffering from dehydration.
Alcohol will deplete your body of water and the lack of water will in turn cause joint and muscle pain.
Dehydration is also the worst thing you could do to your brain becuse without water there is no way that the neurons can fire correctly as water is a necessary conduit for the electrical synapses to communicate.
If you must drink alcohol then ensure you are well hydrated first.
Now...go get several glasses of water!

Sarah, stop drinking! You can save the pain, your money, and always know what's going on! Solomon (the wisest man and third king of Israel) says "Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise." Proverbs 20:1. Paul tells us to "...be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit."

If it's not sex, then you might be anemic. You shoudl go get a blood test and find out. It's nothing serious but will effect your blood flow when you drink and it can make you real tired. SO get it checked.

Try hydrating, ie. drink some water, before going to bed.
Alcohol can dry you out. It could be something as simple as just not enough water in your system.

my co-worker has the same feelings after she drinks. The day after she drinks she has to cover her body in heating wraps. Of course you don't want to have what she does, she has pancreatic cancer.
