I would have that checked out by the doctor to make sure that it is not serious. The clicking may be normal as I had that but the pain means you either twisted it or something is going on there. Get it seen to and if you must skateboard wear knee pads at least till it heals.

i also have this problem if you go to your local doctor and tell him you would like some neoproxin pills it will help.this medicine will not affect your daily activities and will help with any pain and swelling that might occur but make sure you eat something before you take one if you cant get any from your doctor you can go to your local drug store and ask and they sell them over the counter too just not as stong as a doctors order but you can still take them might have to take a couple within a couple of days you should see a big diffrence..hope this helps best of luck if you have anymore questions about this since i am going thru the same thing feel free to e mail me anytime at karinchambers505@yahoo.com

It's crepitus & it's perfectly normal. HOWEVER if you are experiencing pain, I'd suggest seeing a sports med doc just to be certain all is ok. Also, you could probably do a better job in aligning your spine & using your abs, glutes and quads instead of your knees when you stand up from a bent position Visit www.webmd.com for more info online

sounds like you might have cartilage damage. my husbands knee does that because the cartilage between the two bones is worn out and if your really active that could be the problem. you need to see the doctor and have them recommend a good bone specialist

Clicking is normal, pain is not. You may have a series of ailments such as bone spurs, torn ligament, or even tendonitus. You should get and MRI on it as to prevent any further deterioration of a potential problem.

You should see a doctor and check your bones while you are young. Check-up. Xrays.
