I bought some of those big rollers, (magnetic I think they're called) and I thought it would be easy getting them rolled tight like in the salon, but they just either fall right out when I do it, or hang limp so there is no point! I need help!

like she said pins, try using a hair wrap to put over the rollers,
I use that. Also it could be something you put in it to roll it up.
Are you using setting lotion?

When you roller set try setting your hair in smaller sections. That might be the problem. Use smaller sections and apply a small amount of setting lotion at the ends and roll TIGHTLY! Place iron clips at both ends and you should be good. You must roll tightly to keep the rollers from slipping off.
