You are not crazy. You are suffering from different types of mental disorders. Some people call it crazy. I am not a doctor but by your explanation and description of you illness, I do believe that you need to seek psychiatric care. Sometimes, not even if anyone believes you, it is clear that you know whats going on. Some things that will help you- Call the mental health clinic, go to the emergency room-they will evaluate you and help you with understanding care. Call the local hospital, they have names of doctors that you may want to talk with. It is probably discouraging because you feel alone and without support. You are asking the readers for help. Please ignor those that are not helpful. They donot understand. Believe in youself, ignore the negative remarks, and keep on. If you get to the point hat you feel that you cant go on,please THINK! Call 911. Put yourself in the care of those that will understand and help you. Think about yourself and seek help. We all care. Take care of yourself first. The other things will begin to fall into place. Listen to yourself. God Bless you. **Just correcting a statement- I meant to ignor friends and family,Not any of the good resonses from the readers.**

Start out with a Complete Physical with thyroid, liver,
hormone and vitamin checks. There could be underlaying problems that these tests might uncover and if there isn't anything wrong there atleast you know you are physically OK.
If you are taking unprescribed medications ,or using street drugs (including weed) and or are drinking STOP as these can cause symptoms that you describe.
If you smoke, don't stop this at this time. . . doing so can really make your symptoms worse.
If you ARE doing any of the above your symptoms will persist and will only get worse.
And if you do stop any of the above and your symptoms continue, see your mental health DR and do exactlly as they say.
One medication may not work so it may have to be changed and it may have to be changed several times before they find the one that works best for you and in order to do this you have to build up a certain level of the medication in your system and this takes time so don't give up so easily on medications.
Give your Dr and his opinion a chance, don't be soo quick to discount his efforts.
It has taken several years for you to get where you are in this situation and the Dr's aren't gong to find a solution overnight.
May I also suggest that since you have been banned from the internet that you leave this site alone as you will get some answers that could possibly make things worse verses better as there are alot of squirrely people out there with alot of squirrely anwers and answers that AREN'T anywhere close to correct.

Being depressed CAN make you feel as if you have just gone crazy. The worst feeling in the world MUST be to not have people believe you when you describe how you feel and how you fear panic attacks. Panic attacks are horrible and they don't give any warning, as a rule. When your mind begins to swirl, you feel hot and unable to breath, all skittish, and afraid.........that is hard to describe to someone who has never gone through it. If you believe you need help for depression, see a therapist and find out if you are right. It would give ME depression to NOT have people believe how I feel! Mental Health Clinics can treat you without you having to pay, if they are County, etc. Clinics. When you feel anger, frustration, fear and you have your children to care for, you need to get help, for sure. Follow your heart....you know you want/need help. You are no hypochondriac, you are a mother who sounds depressed, and should get the help you know you need.

Aside from all the excellent answers you have already I would just like to offer a bit more info. If you try concentrating on your diet as well and ensuring you are getting plenty of the B vitamin complex you may be pleasantly surprised with the results. I myself have achieved enormous relief from chemical imbalance in the brain by doing just that !! Apparently B3 (Niacin) is essential for the proper functioning of the brain and nervous system. It is one of the few vitamins that is relatively stable in foods and can withstand cooking and storage with little loss of potency.

Food sources rich in B3 are fish, lean meat, whole wheat products, brewer's yeast, liver, wheat germ, fish, eggs, roasted peanuts, the white meat of chicken, avocadoes, dates, figs and prunes.

If your body is deficient in B1, B2, and B6 you will be unable to produce niacin from tryptophan. The body manufacturers its own niacin using the amino acid tryptophan.

Perhaps go to the chemist and get yourself a good quality multivitamin B complex supplement. Just ask the pharmacist for assistance in choosing a good quality brand. Be aware of synthetic vitamins, too hard to digest.

I have very real first hand experience with virtually precisely what you are describing and have struggled greatly with family, friends and the medical profession alike trying to get the proper assistance. Ending up being labelled, as you said, a hypochondriac. Have faith though, I feel that if you try my advice you will see an improvement. I sincerely wish you all the best in your quest, know that you're not alone and no, you are not crazy............. :0)

PEACE & GOOD HEALTH TO YOU

well, you're not crazy but you most definitely spelled alot of words wrong! But seriously, if you feel that you have a serious problem, more serious than what your doctor might have diagnosed, you should, document your condition and its symptoms. And then you should go see a psychotherapist. This does not make you a psycho. Just concerned for your mental health.

First, exhaust all possible avenues of investigation with your doctors. These problems often have a real cause - some missed by doctors-a good clinic who specialise in these obscure problems, that you have, may help-see below for details.
