Hi there,
i do think there is "something" wrong..it sounds like people aren't being very supportive of your difficulties. Your doctor should not dismiss your visual hallucinations or loss of reality. Its unfortunate but the NHS aren't good at treating Mental health issues..try going private, changing your doc or going back to him and explaining your worrys as I really don't think you should be ignored. I take it they have already done a Phychiatric evaluation on you?? If not that needs to be done...don't worry they just ask you a bunch of questions, it's not too bad.. i had it done when i was very depressed/suicidal at one stage. I think we can make ourselves believe sometimes that we have conditions if we read the symptoms online, so self diagnoses isn't always accurate, you need a professional in the mental health to be taking care of you and you deserve it, so demand it. What your going through isn't normal...and having people doubting you or not listening is unfair to you!! Besides even if you were a hipocondriac, you should get help for that also as it's a mental health issue.

My girlfriend has been suffering similarly to you she went to docs got blood test which were clear and an e.c.g which didint detect anything either, after a few trips to a psychologist she has been feeling a lot better and hasnt suffered from any panic attacks. They get to the bottom of why your feeling the way you are and help you, it can start from the smallest thing that at the time you didnt even give a second thot too or maybe even something from years ago that has just been triggered now! I hope this helps.

You Know too much! you seem like a perfectly reasonable person, you understand that there is a problem with your mentality and are seeking understanding. That is the pretty much the opposite of a psychosis. I feel similar panic, depressing, angry, and other confusing feelings quite often. I don't know anybody who does not. I feel that it is just stress of life. stop worring about whats wrong with you, focus on whats right around you. The mind always reflects it's surroundings. So what if you feel a little crazy, we all do! ......do you use pot?

maybe people think your a hypocondriac because your able to say what your feeling most people who suffer struggle, especially with schizophrena but if your having hallucinations you need to fight your cause and find someone who will listen. it dosen`t sound like your a hypo but remember if you think you are going crazy your probly not your just to in tune with your own mind

You could have BPLD OR BPD, but what ever you definitely need to see a doctor. Don't let your family put you off, you have to sort this out, it is not normal. You are not CRAZY just ill.

my heart goes out to you,it seems you might be bi-polar
but you are not imagining it at all, many people suffer similar symptoms for years without being clinically diagnosed.
dont give up your search for treatment, change G.P. if necessary, stay strong for your kids
