I only made $310 this year (teenager). Do I still have to file to pay taxes?

The cut off is $850 of dividends and interest or $5,150 for wages.
If you worked and they withheld federal and/ or state income taxes you will need to file to get a refund.

No you don't. But if anything was withheld for federal income tax, you can file and get it refunded to you.

you do not HAVE to file, but you SHOULD file if any fed tax was withheld .... you will get it all refunded but you must file to get it. if you received a lot of interest income -- if your parents put money into your name to get it out of their name --then you might HAVE to file depending on the amount of interest credited to your social security number.

If you only made $1 and taxes were taken out you still have to file.
