I have a close, good friend. We meet up from time to time and see each other. We usually email back and forth. We are both married. But know all of a sudden he told me hes having problems at home and wants to end it. I have told him to make things work. He also said that he wants to slow down his email usage at work. What is up with that? I never hear from him anymore. Should I just let him have some space or is he getting rid of me? I ask him those questions and he says hes got to much at home and makes it hard to talk right now. But he does enjoy my emails and thinks its great that Im there for him. Is he dropping me?

Yes no relation is stonger in this world. You might have taken him as your close friend. But he could have taken you as his penfriend alone. There is not much guarentee for these type of relationships. So just forget it like a passing cloud and carry on with your life happily with your family.
Or it may be like he doesn't want to share his sorrows with you. So hemay contact you later when it is solved.Sojust take it as a don't care for te time being to get relieved from mental stress.

i understand hes a good friend an all but, how would you feel if your husband was emailin a "good" friend all the time at work? don't worry bout what he is doing you got a man at home you need to be worriyn bout. sounds to me like you want him to be a lil more than a good friend. maybe he feels the same way i do and he doesnt want it, so yeah, i would drop ya too. leave him be, take care of yours!

He sounds to me like a guy who was doing more things on the side than just being friends (maybe not more with you, but with others) and it finally caught up to him, or better yet, his wife caught him ....Seems he is trying to backtrack and get things back to where they were, which is not having any types of relationships with other women. Probably best just to leave him alone.
