I can only answer the second part. Your height is determined by genetics, though there is also a theory that we are bigger in the present because we lack the same childhood diseases that our ancestors had. Thus we spend less energy trying to survive disease and use it for growth.

To ensure you grow optimally, eat plenty of fruits and veggies, whole grains and the like. This is to ensure your body is nourished enough to grow well. If you eat poorly you can grow at less than maximum efficiency because your body just lacks the building blocks.

Also don't do high impact sports like gymnastics, there seems to be a correlation there with being a gymnast and staying short.

Weight will vary depending on the day, time of day, day of week, and time of month. It is very normal for weight to vary between 5-8 lbs on a regular bases. Sometimes I weigh 143, and other days I am closer to 150. Either way, I know havent done anything much to gain (or lose) 7 lbs that fast. All in all, you're probably fine.

And sorry, but height is genetics. There really isnt anything you can do to become taller, but people continue to grow until they are in their late teens, and for some males, into their early twenties. You still have time to put on some height.
