This is really starting to get me down, I have bank charges coming out of my ears, I have passed the letters on, but they keep saying they haven't received them. They do eventually refund the payment, but in the meantime I am unable to get any money out of the bank.

Don't know what letters you are passing on. But, send them priority with a signature respond. Or certified. CAll the loan comp. and ask them what is going on. My daughter had this happen to her and she was so snotty, the bank almost bows to her now. Why does the loan company debit twice a month? I would find some answers from them.

Good advise above.

Get beyond the customer service rep and talk to someone who has access to the system that is debitting your account.

After the first time they said they aren't receiving your letters, you needed to veryify all address and account number information. Then send every letter certified. If they have a PO Box, get a physical address and a fax number to send things to.

It is also good advise to close the bank account and re-open another one. You will have to mail in payments until the new debits go through.

If they give you hassle, talk to the state attorney general and above all else: GET YOUR BANK FEES BACK!!!

This is why I hate automatic or phone-pay payments.

If they dont fix it soon, get a new bank account. This could go on forever! And then never give someone access to your checking account like that.

Also, insist they pay any NSF or Overdraft fees as a result of THEIR mistakes.

try speaking to someone other than the customer service clerk on the phone. then seek legal advice, perhaps even your bank can offer a solution of you speak to them and explain the situatin. bring your documentation. worst case, cancel that bank account and open one with a new number and refile the auto payments. good luck.

Cancel their access to your bank account. Never give creditors access to your bank account.

Stop the direct debit. That will force them to write to you and you can then deal from there.
