Hyundai took over Kia in 1997 (narrowly outbidding Ford). They have seperate manufacturing facilities.

Also Honda has NO association with them at all.

Hyundai owns Kia and they are both from South Korea and they are the 6th biggest seller of cars in the world.

Honda is Japanese. Kia and Hyundai are South Korean and have the same parent company. Just like GM and Ford have various lines.
