Opinion Poll:

If a person has plastic surgery, or any body modifications that alter their original profile, should they be obligated to inform a perspective boyfriend/girlfriend?

I believe they should. Its like buying a car only to find out a few months later that it was flooded, wrecked, or had body work done that was hidden from the buyer.

Your opinions please!

I don't think you are obligated to tell anymore than you have to reveal your whole past to a new boyfriend or girlfriend. These details can be voluteered in good time when you get to know the person better. Hopefully the plastic surgery enhanced or tweaked was already good to go, and did not alter the person that much. Perhaps it just made tired eyes look refreshed or made a weak chin stronger or erased some prior abuse to the body. It's really nobody's business but your own. It isn't like you're hiding a criminal past. Hopefully the surgery gave you a little boost of "outward" self confidence and the inside remained essentially the same.

The question boggles the mind. Just think of all those other things kept in the closet too.
By comparing love to buying a car you seem unsympathetic. Love, after all, transcends these things. Or does it?

No. How would that make a difference? It seems like the person that would care that their boyfriend/girlfriend had it done is more superficial then the person who actually did it.

Well in foamys words: I don't give a crap and if anyone cares then they need to eat a ficken bagel or something. If you happy that's allthat matters, if anyone says anything then run a bagel down there throat and call them a hippie, you'll fell better.
If your happy thats what matters

Here's a scenario: Say you have a very prominent nose and you have it "fixed". You never tell your bf and you go on to become his wife.
Then you have a child. That child could be "blessed" with your prominent nose!
I say....tell him. But only if you think it's leading to a long term relationship.
