If you're interested in converting to judaism, seek out a rabbi...preferably orthodox as an orthodox conversion is accepted by all. Be persistent as the rabbi will likely reject your request a few times.

Very difficult.
Unless you go to reform or conservative where they might convert you but you wouldn't really be Jewish.

"jew" is a shortened form of "Judah".
