Poetry is not just transferring raw emotion into written form. Go read some of the greats and you will see how emotion is conveyed by image, story, diction, etc.

I am a poet myself, your style has a flowing rhythm to it that makes the reader wish it was a longer piece. Good work! Did you write this for a significant other? They'll love it!
