1) Humans were not created. We evolved from lower orders of life.

2) Evolution.

3) The last split with a common ancestor was about 7 million years ago, so some time after that.

4) Depends on when you decide that an ancestor of us is just like us as opposed to something slightly different.

I am going to have to back up the Pamela Anderson answer.

Ok. There is no evidence of anyone or anything purposely creating humans. Some people point to the bible, however, that is not evidence. It was written by primative men. We do not even know all of the authors and we do not even know how they came about some of the information that is in there. Also, the bible has contradictions, errors, and some silly stuff. Like Genesis for instance. Genesis 1 gives an account of creation. In it the animals are created, and then man and woman are created together. However, in Genesis 2, man is created, then animals are created, then man gets to name the animals, then a woman is created. Two different stories of creation and they contradict the order of events.

Humans were not created.

Humans stem from other humanoid species which themselves had other ancestors and so on. If you go back far enough, our ancestors are single-cellular organisms, and their ancestors were complex RNA molecules, and their ancestors were simpler amino acids and so on. At least that's the current state of knowledge, in a nutshell. There might be always new insights. But there is no creator involved. In fact, if we were created we would have no need to procreate, or to die, for that matter.

Why do you ask "who" did something regarding a natural process? Do you ask "who" helps an earthworm digest its food?

Humans were not created. They evolved from earlier life forms in ways that responded to environmental pressures.

Humans began here on earth.

And the first human was not exactly able to communicate with language or a printing press, and so left no record to notify his or her posterity of his identity or way of life.

That is what is called begging the question. You have phrased your question with the assumption that there is a creator. It is kind of like asking "Have you stopped beating your wife yet?" and only allowing a yes or no answer.
Choose reality! humans evolved from lower life forms. Nobody has ever found any evidence of a creator.

CHOOSE REALITY

yeah, silicone works.

Humans evolved according to the laws of physics, nature, chance, and biology... along with adaptive genetics.

Pamela Anderson is a work of evolution in her own lifetime, a perfect example of the power of science, technology, and silicone...

Evolution. And the rest wasn't like that. Take a sixth grade science class and they will explain how it works. If you just want to meet one of the older direct ancestors here you go: http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2006/09/060920-lucys-baby.html

Evolution...

or

Energy theory that energy cannot be destroyed but transmutess from one form to another - Potential Energy - Kinetic energy - etc etc ( and therefore needs no creator ) Just as space needs no creator
