as answered disconnect battery overnight, should work although you will still need the serial number. If it starts with an
M.
go to eserviceinfo.com. and type in Ford M
what you will need is the ,,,Ford M exe... software, this will give you the code for your radio.
nifty litle prog save you shelling out £15 at any garage

Your local Ford dealer may be able to help.
I have heard that if you put the radio into the freezer for a few hours, it will reset the EPROM which holds the code and reset to 0000. But I think this is just a rumour - you'd better do a bit more research before freezing the radio...

If it's an older car radio then sometimes leaving it in the freezer overnight works. If not you are at the mercy of the unlocking services. Ford main dealers usually have the equipment.

no no money involved it is a safety feature they are putting now in radios so they dont work if stollen. what you have to do is go to a pontiac dealership and they will give you a code put in the code and it should be working without a problem

your going to need to go somewhere and have it reset with proof its not stolen... i would go to the ford dealer and ask them to reset your cd player and explain everything...or read in the book and see if there is another way to unlock it without all that...
