hi i downloaded over the hedge and everything is fine apart from i cant hear it! its on windows media player and i got 'cars' the other day and thats ok, just not over the hedge! i would go out and buy it - but duno if its out nd also i get paid in like 3 weeks!! help would be very much appriciated.... thank you! x x x xx

also i know i need a codec, but dont know wot it is and which one to get?? ive tried playing this on other media players

Maybe you havent got all the necessary codecs.

If you can play the film, can see the images and everything except hear the sound, then the problem is on your audio configuration. I have similar problem when playing some of my DVD movie with Windows Media Player.
You can try use MPCstar to play the film. http://www.mpcstar.com/

Try it on some other player like Power DVD or Real Player. It happens with me too every now and then. Trying different players works for me. Good Luck!

You probably do not have the required audio codec for that file.
You should go and search for Kazaa Lite Codec pack. This will have all the required codecs for video and audio.
