you have to apply for a pin for yourself and your parents first, so that you can fill out your fafsa at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov and you also need your parents income tax return whether it be a 1040..a 1040A...etc. Also, contact the university's Financial Coordinators so that you can get more information about how the financial stuff is handled at the university you want to attend. I suggest you also start keeping in touch with your freshmen admissions counselor. The communication between a prospect student and the admissions counselor is vital. They can help you get to college, but they need to see that you really want it. You can also fill out scholarships. http://www.fastweb.com gives you lists of potential scholarships. If you have any question you can contact me, see my profile, my sn is there. GOOD LUCK!

Your college will have an office for this. They depend on you getting financial aid, too, and will be quite ready to help you.

you can either go to your bank for a student loan, talk to the guidance at the school, check out scholarships, etc.
I don't know where you're from but in Ontario Canada you can get OSAP which is the same as a bank loan pretty much....
