You really are not gonna get fired for flirting with your boss unless you are stupid about it your a girl so most likely it isn't gonna goto hr, but you might be told verbally its not appropriate, but no guy is gonna turn that down. Even if they don't like you. Let me tell you though from a boss's perspective, I never took my chance with one of my employee's b/c me and this employee always flirted, but i didn't know if she was just flirting and being her boss i couldn't take the chance b/c one i could lose my job or get sued or the company could have been sued. We went out a few times, but she always said she wasn't ready so I never pushed it b/c I was her boss so i didn't want to miss understand the fact that she was just being friendly with me. Had i not been her boss i would have pushed for more, but I never did so she thought i was just flirting with her and i didn't really like her. It wasn't until I ran into her a few months ago i found out how she really felt about me when she told me, but it was too late she had gotten married, but told me she always wished i would've asked her, that she loves her husband, but she thought i was the most perfect guy for her, but it was too late.

Well don't do it because of all the drama it will lead to if he's married and from all the co workers. Especially if once you go out with him and your co workers find out they will think from now on they will have to do your work too. And that that you will have anything thing or don't have to do anything.
So having a fling with a co-worker or especially the boss it's not a good thing, but it's up to you. Hope you make the right decision.

You don’t! Has anyone ever told you that dating someone that you work with is never a good idea? If you end up dating him and things don’t work out, are you willing to face whatever he spreads around the office about you? Do you have enough money saved to live on when you either end up fired because he more than likely will look for the littlest thing to fire you or you just can’t deal with being the office gossip so you leave on your own?

Can we say sexual harassment in the workplace? I'm sure your boss is smart enough to realize he does not want to be brought up on charges. Being attracted to your boss is allowed - acting on it is not.

Invite him over for a cup of coffe. If he doesn't drink coffee, cook him his favorite dinner and invite him over.

dont do it, because if you have misread any of his signals you can be fired. Someone may mistake your flirting with sexual harassment.
If you are really persistent (and if he isnt married or involved), then ask him out one day for coffee.
Smile a lot, be friendly and make yourself available

Is your boss married or even committed? If yes, then you should leave it at that. If no, then just be yourself, probably he will notice your attention.
Good Luck
