no but i am going to tell you from experience that you need to stay till you finish school . maybe even till you are out of college . It is a big world out their and is not as easy as you may think. Do you have a job? Where are you going to live? You have money saved up ? A car to get you to and from? I hope you are not planning on moving in with a boy wait for that till you have some life under your belt . I will pray for you

If your 18 then its perfectly legal to move out and start your own life. There is nothing your mom can do to prevent it. If I were you I'd wait to graduate high school (it's only a few more months) then concentrate on moving.
I moved out at 19 I will tell you it is very hard. I was going to college and worked 2 jobs so I could have the things I needed. Just think twice before you make the leap...you don't want to come back to your mom in 2 or 3 months and ask her if you can come back do you?

If you are 18- you can move out. You are a legal adult...BUT if you are trying to finish up school, it would probably be better to stay at home for free until college starts, and move into the dorms then...you won't have to find an apartment until summer of your freshman year in college.

you are legally an adult and can move out. Just remember if you plan to have your own house you will have bills. You are still in high school how do you plan on paying for your housing. It will be tough staying focused on you school work and working enough to take care of yourself. Think about it before you move out.

Nope your a adult. However with moving out comes a lot of stuff are you sure your ready?
Do you have work because moving out sounds good on paper but trust me its not all fun & games. lol Don't want to sound like a parent but i live on my own & it cost's $2.300 bux's per month just to survive out there make wise choices if i had my chance again i would have stayed @ home another 5 years lol

Legally, no. But you'd be better off to stay put at least until you graduate. (PLEASE tell me you DO plan to graduate!)

Don't move out in anger. If you want to be treated like a mature adult, you have to act like one. Trust me, it will make it easier for her to let go. My oldest daughter is so independent natured that I actually signed papers for her to graduate a year early so she could move out at 18! She's been in and out of our home at least a half dozen times since then, but she's been out on her own for almost three years. She's got a full time job as an STNA and she's still struggling financially, but she's determined to make it! I admire her resilience and her responsible behavior!
