the keys going missing is a sign... maybe the job wasnt the right one for you... and you need to spend some fun time with the children today instead

Try this, it just might work:
If you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone at home on their cell phone from your cell phone. Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you. Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away, and if you can reach someone who has the other "remote" for your car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk).

Try putting your keys in the same spot each night away from kids, maybe a key hook on the wall out of reach from children. Then you won't go through this all the time.

Think of all the places you could have last put them. I used to lose mine all the time until i went to Walmart and bought this cute little key rack and hung it by the door and each night when i get home i hang them up and each morning i know where to fine them. They are right where i put them. Good Luck sweetie hope you find them soon.

Is there a neighbor that has the same kind of car as you? Maybe you can ask to try their key, and see if it works. I can't speak for other companies, but it worked for my Honda Accord. You never know.

Yeah I hate when keys get lost, they seems to walk by themselves. What I do is to redo every step I did when I have them the last time, do not seat and try to remeber, just get up and do everything you did step by step olso remeber what were you doing, thinking and talking. I works for me, but you must do it by the book.

Have you checked:

outside on the way into the house
diaper bag/purse
in the car by or in the children's carseat
in closets on shelves
did your husband have it in his coat pocket when he left for work?

Good luck
