I think Satan uses them as a willing mouth-piece to disrespect God. "They know not what they do" or who is using them.

Pardon me for pointing fingers, but part of the problem lies with the clergy at large and the prevalence of false teachings within the Churches. Concepts such as predestination and fate would make it seem as though God intends or plans for everything to happen exactly as it does. A preacher will easily explain the death of your infant in a drunk-driver accident as God's will, or say that he needed another angel in Heaven (as if he didn't create enough in the beginning and needed a gruesome method to extract a baby from its parents). The Bible (and common sense, really) shows that the majority of bad things that happen are a result of human imperfection. Imperfect humans struggle for dominance over one another, resulting in wars (which kill and maim and leave people homeless), economic disaster, and other things of this sort. Not to be forgotten is the overall effect of "time and unforseen occurrence" (Ecc. 9:11); some things happen to people because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time. It wasn't God's fault that terrorists hi-jacked planes and flew them into the World Trade Center, and the victims had no idea that going to work/school/taking that flight would be the last thing that they did. It just happened that way. To blame God is foolish and unfair.

I dont blame God for the worlds problems. Personally I feel we have no one to blame but ourselves. I do see alot of non believers using the worlds problems as a basis for their non belief however.

They do not comprehend the scriptures nor the nature of our God. Perhaps they know they deserve judgment from God, and so attribute every evil thing that they do to him.

If all good things come from God, then the bad ones must also come from him.
