1st off, was this competition or a fight. If competition, against a taller opponent, get in close to neutralize his reach advantage. If a fight, why do you want to fight again? Fighting for pride is just plain stupid.

Don't seek revenge. You'll only lose again. Swallow your pride unless this guy attacks you again. Otherwise, it's best to ponder the situation for future reference and learn from it. Since you're smaller though, your best bet with someone taller would be to get in close to him and fight him that way. Taller people are uncomfortable fighting up close because their arms and legs are too long. They have a hard time with it. So, get in close. If you have to, get on his back and choke him to the ground. Wrap your legs around him while you choke him and don't let go, no matter how much he slams you into things. Remember, keep your distance though. If you allow too much space between the two of you, he has the advantage. Crowd him. DO NOT seek revenge though. This advice is ONLY for the possibility of being harassed again.

How to get pride back? Simple, get an education and get your degree then get a decent job. Something better than flipping hamburgers at McDonalds. Upon graduating from college I have owned two businesses and am preparing to start a third. I have found it's much easier to outclass my foes with my brain than with my fists.
You're in college to learn not pick fights. If you want to fight join the marines or see if your local NHL team needs goons.

I would say you have your pride, you stood up to him, and that is what pride is, it's not about winning, it's about dealing with loosing and how you react, a lot of people would have run away from the altercation, and that is hard to deal with, most bully's look for easy targets, so most of the time when you stand up to them, they will look for an easier target next time.
a real fighter knows you aren't always going to win, and every time you get in a fight you stand a chance of getting hurt of killed, when i was in grade school two sixth graders got in a fight and one of them was killed, he took a shot to the head and never regained conscious. it happens, it does not take a 300 lbs muscle man to put the hurt on someone!! so keep in mind only fight when you have to and when you do end it as quick as possible.

When fighting a taller opponent you have to be wary of the reach, you have to work on speed on order to get inside if you are going to trade punches or kicks. An example is the way Tyson fought when he was younger, he was shorter than most of his opponents, and his speed was superb, he'd get inside and throw devastating uppercuts and hooks. Kicking is also a factor although if you are proficient at kicking I don't recomend you try, if your opponent can kick you have to stay away from his power kick (usually the right) by circling counterclockwise when facing him. If you are shorter work on low kicks to the thigh, as they can be highly effective, or groin kicks. Always remember to keep your hands up if you are going to trade. A shorter person should also try to grapple, as your center of gravity is lower, if you were pushed easily work on your upper body and core (abs), you can do so with push ups and crunches, do them slowly to get strong.
Also, I'd recommend you train to defense yourself. I'd try boxing, muay thai or jiu-jitsu, any of those would help alot.

look for weak spots. a good kick to the balls and he will be done and then you can go to town on him. Also if you watch when he's talking or if his jaw in open a little bit, jack him right in the chin. It will push his jaw back to the nerves and he will drop like a ton of bricks and be out like a baby. Remember the only unfair fight is the one you lose.

Concentrate incredibly on your schoolwork. Seek employment at his place of employment. Use your superior intellect to destroy his credibility in his career field and force him into poverty. Later, while a bum, you and some friends get an expensive video camera and go to his cardboard box and video tape you beating the crap out of the bum and put it up on the college message boards entitled. "Isn't Karma a *****?"
