To gain weight, you have to eat more calories then you burn. You really dont need a deit - unless you want all that weight as fat, you can eat all the junk food you want.
Guessing you want to be healthier though, I would eat a regular deit. If you are doing a lot of exercise, eat more. You could drink a lot of smoothies or other healthy foods/drinks that are high in calories but loaded with vitamins.
Also, some basic weight lifting may help, do light weights for 15-20 reps, and you will tone your muscles (not getting ripped or buff). Muscles weigh more than fat anyway, and its healthier

sweetie!! If the doctor didn't help you then you must see someone else....if you're seriously eating well and still losing weight then they should give you an explanation..... But seriously...have you really been eating? Were you losing weight before you suddenly lost 20 lbs? What changed between the time you weren't losing weight and the time you have. If there really isn't a medical problem and you are eating well then I'd suggest that you start cooking yourself elaborate meals....make them really special. Go ahead with all the fat and the carbs, but use good ingredients and fresh things so you get enough nutritional value from what you are eating. ... also it sounds like you need to relax.... I'd bet you haven't been getting enough sleep and you have yourself reved up all day and night. Maybe try some melatonin (herbal suplement) for a few nights till you get a nice sleep pattern.

When I was a teen, and terribly underweight, I made protein shakes with ice milk. Ice milk is fake ice cream basically. Ice milk wasn't too heavy but it took that chalky taste out of the protein drinks and adds calories.
Ironically, I briefly would eat from my parents' Weight Watchers menus and gain weight. Balanced diet that your body can slowly absorb. Otherwise, you might get nauseated or diarrhea if you gorge on really fatty foods all at once.
Your stomach probably shrunk too (it's like elastic) and you need to stretch it. Try soups or broths. And make sure you are drinking water, you can't afford to be dehyrated at your size!

It is IMPOSSIBLE to lose that much weight in one week, unless you are obese and it is all water....you must be dehydrated. Drink as much water as you can and plenty of porassium (bananas).....this should help you immidiately.
And yes, if you are only 89 pounds, and you are an adult that is taller than 4'10", you need to eat more.
