Obviously exercise (swimming is fantastic for this) and eat properly first and foremost. Secondly, losing weight is easy at the beginning and then takes commitment and work to remain off. The rule of thumb is in the first few weeks, it is acceptable to lose 3 pounds each week and then after that a further 2 pounds a week.

Simply take it gradually and ensure that you are doing it for the right reasons.

Gosh - 4kg in 3 months sounds slow... I lost 10kg in just 6 weeks. I used a diet from a1diet.net and with exercise it was extra easy to lose the weight. Why not ask for a free consultation - it helped me. check the link below.

It depends on the amount of sweat that happens each time you work out. It also depends on the diet you eat. If you're working out but still stuck on your former diet, maybe you should stick to fresh veggies, fish and non-fat diets, or stick to your old diet but lessen the portions. Finally, ask your gym instructor about "peaks" because your body might only go down to a certain weight and that's when it levels off. Good luck.
