sales tax will be charged in your residence county, so there's no potential savings by looking elsewhere other than the price of the car itself.

FORD what its worth.....you can be your 5$ LINCOLN bill that Texas has one of the lowest that won't make your MERCURY rise...it is 6.25%....email me for a quote on the above cars...problem will be that you hve to keep it registered here.....if your state is higher I think that you have to pay the difference and what happens when your plates (once a year in Texas) come up for renewal......go to Edmunds.com....build your vehicle and get the cost and then pay a "fair" price for what you want and don't complicate it by shopping all over the states......don't you get to write this tax off anyway?.....good luck!!
