This depends on the guy. Some are more sensitive while some don't care (or pretend they don't). My first break-up was really hard and I did think about her a lot, and she got over it a lot easier than I did. Subsequent break-ups haven't mattered that much to me. So it also depends on how important the relationship was to him. My advice is to be sad for a week or two at most and then move on. There are tons of guys out there that would want to date you. Or you could just be single for a while, I've been single for almost a year now.

Short answer: Yes, guys hurt just as much. We just work really hard not to show it.

It can hurt us guys just as much, it usually depends on who wanted the realtionship to end. Do they move on faster depends on the guy and his emotional skill at dealing with the seperation, same for a woman. Just men deal with it differently.
As for thinking about the ex's, I do all the time must of my break up have been good. I just hope they are enjoying life and often wonder what they are doing now but life being life and 20 years since my last girlfriend (because i'm married) I know I will probably never know or see them again so there is no point dwelling on it.

Well that depends on the circumstances of the breakup. You broke up with whom and other factors, but in general I don't think that they hurt or mourn as long as the girl. I think this is due to the fact that women are more sensitve than men are and they pour(give) more of themselves i nto the relationship. I do believe that guys do think of their exes but probably not as much as the woman does because we as men don't cherish times together as much as the women because of our inept sensitivity. Lastly I do believe that they move om faster in part do to this same lack of sensitivityand also with the maturity level being very low our minds are easily manipulated by the next pretty face that comes along. As long as we have someone that we think will make other guys envious that is all it takes and we are over it. Sad but true.

Sometimes I think it is worse for guys after a breakup. Girls can go to their friends and cry and talk feelings and their friends will hug them and try to make them feel better........guys don't usually have this option. The only feeling that they feel safe expressing is anger, so they keep alot of the other feelings bottled up inside. Sometimes it seems that they move on faster, but that is just to escape the pain, it's not that they are over the person, or have healed. That's the one benefit of being a woman, we can express our true feelings without fear of rejection or looking weak.

everyone is different when it comes to breakin up with there girl/boyfriend. Some guys probably do think about there Ex and don't say anything to anyone. everyone moves at their own pace when it come to this point. It may take some guy a whole five minutes to get over their ex and for other guys it make take a long time to get over her. it also depends on if they where realli in love with that person.

Good luck!!!!

I think only guys who are sensitive hurt as much other guys just move on to the next girl and dont hurt that much or even at all. I mean young guys. Mlder guys lets say late 20's and up yeah they have a different view on love than they did when they were young and stupid and yeah I would say that it hurts them as much.

I actual have not have been given any problems with this one *additionally, do no longer talk approximately your ex-boyfriends. We never have, nor ever will appreciate or like them, nor do we'd pick to hearken to approximately them. once you do, you're asking your boyfriend to be jealous. you're asking your boyfriend to lose have confidence. they're area of their lives and prefer it or no longer, they contributed to them starting to be to be the guy they're. i'm no longer able to assert that i wouldn't in any respect like or appreciate somebody i don't be attentive to because of the fact they previous have been in a relationship with somebody I care approximately. sounds such as you acquire some gives you for dates, it is intense-high quality to work obtainable are some those that get excitement from the authentic gents.

Are you kidding? Why do you think guys are so cold to women, or use them, then throw them away. It is because once they got hury real REAL bad. So to avoid getting hurt like that again, they use women. They don't want to let someone in, because they have never healed from the one that they did let in once. So in a very real sense, the guy has never healed, and might never heal from that one time some girl broke his heart.
Or the guy might just be a real jerk. You decide.

The short answer to the first part of your question is yes.
As for my ex's, I often think about the ones I'm not still speaking with.
As for moving on faster, I guess it depends on the person.
For me, it's been almost a year now and it still sucks.
C'est la vie.
