My grandma is really sick and I love her a lot. She lives about 40 minutes from us but I want to be with her everyday. She is probably my most favorite person in the world. Are you close to your grandparents ... and what would you do if you were me?

all my grandparents are dead.

40 minutes. a sneeze and you're there. Visit her every day. a 40 minute drive is nothing.

Heck, I drive 67 minutes to work and good 90 minutes on the way home. 40 is nothing..

go see her every day

I was/am very close to my maternal grandparents. I love spending time with my grandma. I'm 36 and she's 87...I've learned so much from her. My grandpa passed when I was 18. I still cry! I even named my son after him. I'm thankful that I have them for the many happy memories they've given me. It made up for the poor excuse for grandparents on my dads side. Make every effort you can to see her or call her. 40 minutes is really not that bad for a lifetime of memories.

I would say spend as much time with her as you can. I have only one of my grandparents still living and she's over 700 miles away. I was really close with my other grandmother that passed away in 2001 and it really hurt me that's why when I get a chance to go back to my hometown, I make it my business to go see her and sit and talk. Enjoy all the time you can spend with her.

I have just one surviving grandparent left in my life, and I'm quite thankful she is still around. I get to see her almost every Sunday evening when we have supper at her house.
